Message the money and time on the balance.

What is more important to you, ride height or handling?
If you just street drive the car, set the height where you want it, then get it aligned. You don't notice a proper corner balance during normal everyday driving.

If you track a lot, set the height roughly where you want it (more to save the tech's time), get it corner balanced, then aligned.

A good corner balance makes a good bit of difference on track. Obviously the more it is at the start the bigger difference you'll feel. But on a purely street driven car, I'd probably save the $300. IMHO
